So check Adaptec for latest. The lack of details lead me to believe that you need to review the install manuals. It didn’t respond well to overclocked PCI bus speeds and would vanish.

I downloaded a driver from Dell support aeaptec. I don’t think the Adaptec aic is compatible with XP.
